ALL of the rest of October

Not too much of great significance happening around here, but here's daily life right now!

Eli found our old portable DVD player and put on a Baby Einstein movie "for Tyler"....
Mmmm-hmmm.  Which is why Eli, Jace and Hailee were all glued to the screen...

Still lots of snuggling happening around here!

Uncle Dan came over to sight his rifle and Jace got a few shots off:

All hail King Tyler!
The kids all made a throne for Tyler.

We were at Mimi and Papa's house for a family dinner and Tyler needed a nap!  Since he's rolling around now, I didn't want to put him on their bed, so I made him a little bed on the floor- so cute!

Playtime!

Dallin was talking to Tyler on the phone:

Playing with a slot car racetrack Chad gave my kids:

We dog-sat the Perry's dog Benny- best dog ever! (sorry Knight and Duke!)  He's just so chill, but playful when you want him to be, totally house trained and just has this old soul that gazes into your eyes.  I love him so much, I didn't even care if he was on my couch!

Snow!

At the first sign of snow falling, Jace commenced his snow dance and Eli tried catching snow in a cup for Tyler:

Crazy how a few flakes can quickly lead to this:

Of course Tyler had to get in on the action:

Not surprisingly, he wasn't too sure what to think of it!

A post of its own...

Sheesh we've had some amazing sunsets recently.  I mean, we get a lot of great sunsets, but pictures never do them justice.  and while I usually lump them in with the monthly recap (or don't post them at all)  I thought these were worthy:

What a beautiful world we live in!

Sweet 45

45 years young!

We stayed in for his birthday- I made ribs and he requested an Italian pecan creme cake- it was yummy!  I don't say often enough how wonderful this man is!  He is so patient and forgiving, such a fun dad, so handy and hardworking, and my best friend.  I'm a lucky girl 💗

7 Months!

He's a very strong sitter now:

but still folds up like a pretzel 🥨

And can I just say how difficult getting these monthly pictures have gotten??
It definitely takes at least one helper to get a decent picture.

When you lay him down, he rolls front and back:

He's too big strong for swaddling him in muslin blankets, so we've switched to a swaddle wrap...
Technically, I was supposed to stop swaddling him a few months ago, but whatever.  He sleeps so good when he's swaddled, I'm not about to rock that boat.

Such a happy boy!

The boys are starting him on Star Wars young:

I don't even think that Tyler realizes that HE is the play-thing:
