Bryson stepped on this in the empty lot the other day... he only had cheap flip-flops on.
He was pretty brave, hopping all the way home... he was relieved to know he wasn't going to die and that we could just clean it really good... I was relieved he was current on his tetanus! Funny enough, I stepped on a nail when I was his age... on my 6th birthday. I still have a scar on the bottom of my foot to prove it.

Welcome Summer!

(I think it's a lot funnier when you realize he has the snorkel mask on upside-down)
bathing beauty
She wasn't too impressed...
In all fairness, the water was pretty cold... didn't stop her brothers though!
Sweet, sweet, sleep
I know, it is a very sad and pathetic thing that Hailee is just now sleeping through the night. She's been perfectly capable for quite some time, but I've allowed her to wake me every THREE hours. All of the excuses were eventually gone (ie: cold season and she has a stuffy nose, ear infections, teething) as to why she was waking up, so I finally bit the bullet... she cried it out over FOUR nights, but bliss, sweet bliss, she has now been sleeping all night for over a week. The boys in the next room over? They slept just fine despite her screams... Nathan and I on the other hand, did NOT! It killed me, but in the end was soooo worth it!

When mommy is busy...

"I Wee-Gee (Luigi) Mommy!"
Moments later he changed into a green shirt to complete the whole 'Luigi' look.

At church today...
During the opening hymn, we noticed this on the bottom of our hymnal:
In case you can't decipher, it says Bryson.
I am so {ahem} proud? Looks like we just bought ourselves a new hymnal.

Thumbs up Check up!
His blood work and exam checked out great with the hematologist today! He didn't even cry when they drew his blood- HOORAY!
Bryson's First Baseball Game
Wow is real baseball (even if it IS coach pitch) more entertaining and quicker moving than t-ball! Bryson's game was so fun to watch. He and Dallin are in full-on baseball mode. Poor little Eli is left wondering when it's his turn- he brings his mitt to the games just hoping...
Brysons team was in the field initially, he did so good staying in his 'ready stance'-
Cute little #8
He ended up striking out his first at bat... he swung at e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. (thanks for the great pitching, coach, NOT!)- he was really tough and fought back the tears, but I knew he was devastated... his next at bat he got a base hit though, which made up for it!
Dallins First T Ball Game
Can you feel the excitement?
It got a little boring at 3rd base...

Sorry Boys, Combo Birthday Party = Combo Blog Post!
I can hardly believe that Bryson and Dallin are another year older! Each of the boys got to bring a special treat in for their class- Bryson wanted Star Wars cookies... he chose Obi Wan and Captain Rex
And Dallin wanted Super Mario Brothers... Mario and Luigi- I think these turned out the best...
Dallin enjoyed them!
Since Bryson's birthday fell on Memorial Day weekend (it seems like always does... not that I'm complaining!) we were camping on his birthday (in our new camper, whoot!). He had so much fun being outside and playing with his cousins. I think the highlight was the motorcycles and four wheelers my sister and brother brought up. He learned how to ride a little 50 himself- it was right up his alley.
This year was a family party. Bryson was so impressed with the Mario Bros. cookies, he decided he wanted to go with that theme for his cake... Dallin stuck with his original plan *grin*
I made a third one for my nephew Chad who was also celebrating his birthday that day...
They were certainly a happy bunch! Happy Birthday Boys!

Memorial Day Camping
The boys had a blast riding the 4 wheeler and motorcyles...
We celebrated Brysons birthday... he got a Lego Hero Factory and couldn't have been more excited- I love it when it doesn't take a lot to make them happy!
And we had our annual "Cotton Cookie Campout"... which is always a big hit *grin*
