January Round Up!

Here's a summary of our January in pictures:

Dug this out of Eli's ear...

(Shhhhhh, don't tell Dr. L!!)  It's his LAST tube, and if I hadn't dug it out, we'd still have to go in for 'tube checks' every three months... getting this thing out meant one less doctor's appointment every 3 months- I guess you could say I was determined!

Hmmm, it's quiet... "where's Hailee?!?"  My casual search for her turned a little more concerned and then a little panicked as I s.t.i.l.l. couldn't find her... and then I found her in the corner of my bedroom blocked from view by my bed:

Ya, she doesn't need naps anymore....  psh.

Pizza Night

We've gotten in to making our own pizza... Dallin and Bryson l.o.v.e. pizza... Eli, not so much... he's just not a fan of red sauce- even though he LOVES tomatoes!  But it's growing on him since we've started making our own pizza since he has control over the making of the pizza- I often suggest for him to leave the pizza sauce off, but he always puts it on anyway.  He finally declared the other night, "Mom!  I like pizza now!"

I mix the dough and let the kids knead it and roll it out- they're getting pretty good, and I've just made peace with the mess that it makes because they have so.much.fun...

This year I've started making all my own breads... I've really learned from scratch baking that practice makes perfect... well, it at least makes it a LOT better!  Our pizzas are really turning out yummy!
