Eli is TWO! I can hardly believe it. I'll say it again....
where does the time go? He certainly was feeling much better than
last year when we celebrated his birthday- and enjoyed his cake much more too!
Eli loves all things boy- sports, balls, cars, and especially trains... or "foo foo's" as he says it. He also likes all things sweet and sugary. Combining the two for his cake was almost more than he could stand. He 'got it' and knew this was all about him... love the train cake I made- (the tracks make the number 2 *grin*) He knew right away that he wanted the orange car- I think because since it was orange the mini-oreo wheels stood out more.
He started out proper, with a fork and all.
But the fork was quickly abandoned for his fingers. Much more efficient... and fun.
Nothing spells fun like making a thorough mess with orange frosting. *note that ALL the oreos were gone, of course!
Dallin liked the cake too, but in a
slightly less messy way- just as much mess on the table and floor, not quite as much on his hands and face.
