Our house is for sale!
It was kinda a spur of the moment thing, but the real estate market is looking promising and we really want to buy land and build! I worked like crazy painting and de-cluttering and getting it ready... and now I love my house even more... sure I want it to sell, but if it doesn't, I have a beautiful house to live in *grin* And the nice thing is, with our upcoming road trip, it'll sit all nice and pristine for a month! (I know, I really should be questioning my sanity with all these plans!!)

Good Eats
Dallin's class had a end of the year carnival themed party this week- Eli and Hailee were thrilled to be able to go! They loved the cotton candy *grin*
My sister Kim and I went down to Tri-Cities to help Kristi pack up her house for her upcoming move to Colorado. I took Jace along and on the way home, he was pretty bored. I ended up giving him his first sucker and he cheered right up!
We dog sat (again)... and anytime the food was left down on the ground, Jace was all over it. He is being a pretty finicky eater right now and could literally have just refused his lunch or dinner, only to find the bowl of dog food and shovel it in his mouth as fast as he could before I took it away.
Mmmm-mmmm! *gag*

Clean Eating
Hailee wanted some watermelon with her lunch. I've learned the hard way that watermelon stains clothes, so I thought I was being smart by having her take her shirt off to eat it... I didn't even think about her pants!!
These pants have a date with oxy-clean : /

Dallin's Birthday!!
Seven years old and his smile shows it *grin* He's missing teeth all OVER the place! It's adorable- especially because he smiles so much. Dallin is very into sports right now and wanted sports themed cookies to bring into his class this year- that was awesome because it was super easy. And again I didn't take any pictures. Use your imagination, baseballs and basketballs.
Dallin is so sweet and thoughtful. Because he generally doesn't demand attention, he sometimes doesn't get as much, but he never complains- it's easy to spoil him because of it though! And when he's sad or upset and fights back his tears, oh my, I'm such a sucker! He's a tough little guy though- doesn't even wince when he has to get his blood drawn. I love listening to him and Eli play make-believe; sometimes they're super hero's, sometimes they're Mario and Luigi, sometimes they act out movies, they play so well together. He's really coming out of his shell and making new friends and becoming more social- and if he gets talking about anything video game related, it's all over *grin* For his birthday, we got him a tablet (since his ds broke)- his expression opening it was p.r.i.c.e.l.e.s.s. Sheer disbelief. We really have to limit it though because he would otherwise be completely addicted. Minecraft. Minecraft. Minecraft.
He really couldn't decide what kind of cake he wanted (well, besides minecraft, which I was NOT going to even try), so I made a 'pizza' cake- Dallin loves him some pizza- and he thought the cake was pretty cool...Dallin's favorites at age seven:
Favorite Color: Light Blue

May
In conclusion *grin*
Spring planting:
As a kid, I never thought I would love weeding and digging and planting as much as I do.
Messes, messes, messes...
Biter biscuits, still just as messy:
Bryson loves making 'bases' for Dallin and Eli to play with:
Hailee being 'super helpful' in carrying Jace around... he really appreciated it.
Finally got around to teaching Dallin to tie his shoes *bad mom!* Velcro shoes are just so fast and easy!!
Awwww....
He doesn't just play on playground equipment anymore, he conquers it:
Love this shot:
We're thoroughly enjoying the amazingly warm and sunny spring weather we've had recently... riding bikes to school, short sleeves, playing outside way too late on school nights... so fun!
Bryson's Birthday!
Aaaaand the birthday train just keeps on rolling... I love having all my kids birthdays (for the most part) condensed into May and June-
Bryson wanted Iron Man cookies to bring into his class... I obliged. It's just his face, and these were the mess ups I didn't bring to school (cuz I forgot to take a picture before!!)
Bryson's teacher, Mrs. Skeman, is truly amazing. She has been so good for him. It's obvious she loves what she does. She taught all the kids the happy birthday song in sign language- it's so neat to see them all doing it at once- wish I'd have known because I would have loved to have gotten it on video!
Bryson's favorites at age nine:
Favorite Color: red
Favorite Restaurant: Jack in the Box
Favorite Food: Bacon Cheeseburger
Favorite Drink: 7 Up
Favorite thing to do: Build Lego's
Best Friend: Deen
Favorite Movie: Harry Potter
Favorite TV Show: Iron Man- Armored Adventures
Favorite Toy: Lego's
Favorite Animal: Bald Eagle
Favorite Book: The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

Bryson is a great big brother, he is so sweet and loving and is still my cuddle bug *grin* I will certainly miss that when he grows out of it! He is passionate about whatever he's into at the time- legos, Harry Potter, Star Wars, the military, etc. He loves to learn and *ahem* share his knowledge. His brothers and sister look up to him an awful lot!
And to go along with his Iron Man cookies:
(never mind the pink frosting, it was supposed to be red, sorry bud!)
