Alas, I have rejoined the world of the internet connected! We had quite an ordeal getting our internet and land line hooked up (I do NOT recommend Qwest)... long story short, after impatiently waiting 3 weeks (after numerous no-shows by them) our service was hooked up, but the internet wasn't working... so they came back the next day and informed me that I actually couldn't get internet thru them in my area.... NICE!! The only reason I was trying to stick with them was because we were 'bundling' our service and the Direct TV (yes, for the first time in our lives we are paying for television) had already been hooked up.... I called Comcast, they came the next day, hooked up my internet (which is faster than Qwest's anyway!) and well, here I am... We have a lot of catching up to do!
Our house is really coming together and is starting to feel like home... Bryson and Dallin adjusted very well, but hey, they had all their old toys back that had been in storage, so who could complain? Fortunately for me, Dallin figured out how to go down stairs (he'd been climbing up them for months) a few days before we moved in, so that was one less thing I had to worry about in the chaos of unpacking... the stairs actually kept him quite occupied at times *grin*
I so need to paint! We got to pick one color for the walls AND ceilings and Nathan didn't want colored ceilings (understandably) so our walls are awfully white... just a shade darker than the white trimwork... which is fine I guess, because I planned on painting anyway, but this way, it's staring me in the face to do... I just wasn't patient enough to do all the painting before we moved in like my sister Amie... that would have been nice. I did get one wall done because our big bookshelf was going on it and I knew once that was in place, it wasn't getting moved- the boxes of unpacked books were motivation enough for me to paint just that one wall.
I love my house, it is SO nice to be in, but I've decided that 2 story houses are overrated! Maybe it's just because of the kids, but I feel like I am constantly going up and down the stairs all day.... I don't think it really counts as a workout though...
Bryson started preschool! This was his first day... can't you just see his excitement? He love love loves his school (Though he was a little disappointed when he discovered that he didn't get to ride a school bus...) and his teacher, Mrs. Mackin... everyday (he only has class 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours) he runs to her and hugs her and says "I've missed you Mrs. Mackin!" She thinks it is sweet- I won't tell her that he says that to anyone he hasn't seen in the last hour...
I love the time I get to spend with Dallin without big brother to distract me, even though Dallin usually naps for a good amount of the time Bryson is at preschool...
We went to the Spokane County Fair last week and Bryson LOVED it (what doesn't he love you ask? Avocado's). He went on roller coasters (as seen above... it was no coincidence they rode in a giant caterpillar because the ride went at a caterpillars pace...)
Then he flew an airplane, drove a train ("I was the train-master mom, did you see me?") and rode a four-wheeler
a boy and his toys... he wants to go the the fair everyday now... fortunately it's gone, because boy did I eat fair food... reminds me of Templeton on Charlotte's Web... 'A fair is a veritable smorgasbord orgasbord orgasbord'... I had a giant corndog (mmmmmm, corndogs) a big thing of curly fries and funnel cake... okay, so we all shared it, but it was enough grease to last a month.... it was goooooood, but I regretted it later that night, ugh...
That's mostly it for now... I'm sick of typing....
Lest you think Dallin has lost his cute edge, here are some pictures of him... he is such a joy...
Oh, and since my last post was on his over active and explosive bowels, I suppose an update is necessary... his bowels continued much the same (in my brand new house!! I was worried....) until finally we decided to try him off cows milk.... I had a horrible milk allergy as a baby and now the recurrence as lactose intolerance made me think maybe that's what was going on... it had started sometime after we changed him to whole milk.... so last Saturday we started soy milk... it took a few days to notice a real difference, but he seems better! Instead of pooping 8+ times a day, it's only 1-2 times.... I can deal with that much better! And it generally stays inside the diaper, which is the general idea behind the diaper I believe...

He really wants to be a climber, but he's just too short still! Maybe if he's not constantly having diarrhea, he can actually absorb some of the nutrients from his food and GROW!!

Dallin had fun at the fair too! And then he pooped out of his diaper.... (prior to changing to Soy..)
