Can you believe that I'm going to try cloth diapers with this baby? My mom was aghast with the very thought... until I showed her my cloth diapers... they ain't yo' mamas cloth diapers!
When I was pregnant with Hailee, I had a co-worker tell me about her daughters cloth diapers, and while I did a little research and was super impressed, I was just not willing to make the commitment with so many littles at home. I had decided that if I was having my first baby, I'd totally cloth diaper, but it would be too difficult to start when I already had 3 kids... Well, since I'm basically starting over and it feels like my first again, I'm trying it! I've bought a variety of styles and fits so I'm hoping it works out! They sure are cute!
I'm trying to fit in all the things before this baby comes... so Hailee had a follow up MRI from her initial imaging last March. She did great!
We were very happy to find that her chiari hasn't advanced in any appreciable way! YAY for no progress *wink*
As a nurse, I was asked to present what I do at work as a 'community helper' to the kindergarten classes at my kids school. I brought home a variety of sizes of diapers we use in the NICU and my kids were amazed!
I'm not really sure the kindergarteners understood just how tiny a baby is that would fit into a 'nano-preemie' diaper, but all the adults in the room sure did! Regardless, the kinders were very attentive and just adorable in every way.
And with today being leap day, I realized that I've had an 'extra' day in 1/2 of my pregnancy's... In 2004 I was pregnant with Bryson (I missed the leap day in 2008 because Eli was born early, but he was actually due ON leap day), in 2012 I was pregnant with Jace and now, again, pregnant on leap day 2020.
